Very nice style, neat and crisp. I also really like the very nice job you did for the throat, very realistic. Overall you did a very nice job. Just as a personal opinion I would of preferred it to be a little longer, also maybe a little more dialogue, but saying that the art style is beautiful, it is also very creative as well, which is very nice to see, and it feels like there is a story that could develop behind this. I don't really have any qualms about your work. Very good job.
Like most fetishes, the reasoning for liking it either cannot be explained, or will not make sense.
To go ahead and put aside any misconceptions you may have, no, vore on a whole is not cannibalism. Certain sub-categories could possibly be considered cannibalism, such as hard vore or any vore involving the cooking and cutting up of the the victim, but this tends to be subverted by making the victim (in some cases, the predator) a demi-human or an anthropomorphic character. Most voreaphiles tend to keep it a fantasy, perishing the thought of ever actually harming someone, but there are a some out there that actually do practice eating small animals like hamsters, gerbils, mice, and gold fish alive and whole and there are some that will eat small inanimate objects. Then we have the small group of people that no longer fall under "voreaphile" and instead are moved to outright cannibalism, but for some reason people continue to lump cannibals in with voreaphiles. I may end up catching some flak for this, but I feel that the ones I've listed above are the ones that end up getting everyone who shows an interest in vore painted in a bad light.
Not everyone is in to vore for sexual reasons. As an example, I have a more sexual interest in soft vore, but I like using hard vore as a plot device in some of the stories I write. Overall, vore is an interesting thing for me in general
The only thing I've never been able to understand about fetishes in general is why people insist on hating other people simply for liking something they do not, but I digress. That is something better left for a different discussion.
I do hope that answers most of your questions. Feel free to ask me if you want anything else explained, I'll do the best I can, or what I recommend is to search "Vore" here on DA and find the written work "On Vore" by De-Vore, which is far more informative than what I could give you; it contains a far greater wealth of information on the topic.
